A jury recently returned a verdict for a client of Massey & Duffy (Devin McGowan) in ’s favor of substantial damages on his FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act) case. On March 1, 2012, the trial court entered judgment against PMI and in McGowan’s favor for $161,015.10, plus interest at the rate of 6% per annum. Additionally, the Court reserved jurisdiction to address further McGowan’s demands for front pay, reinstatement, and an award of attorney’s fees and costs, the latter of which McGowan’s legal counsel sought for $37,427.50. After that, the case was amicably resolved.
